A log cabin on a wooded point on the lake in Cotton, Minnesota, about 36 miles north of Duluth. Gather by the stone fireplace in the great room, walk down to the dock and the sandy beach, and end the day at the fire pit above the water. A pontoon boat at the dock is available seasonally.

Cotton is a small crossroads community in the lake and pine country of Minnesota's Arrowhead, about 36 miles north of Duluth where US Highway 53 meets County Road 52.
Expect quiet water, tall pines and dark, starry skies, with Duluth and the North Shore of Lake Superior an easy day trip away.
Getting around
A car is the way to go. Cotton sits right on US Highway 53, roughly halfway between Duluth and Virginia, so groceries and restaurants in either town are an easy drive.

“A really nice, private, and serene place surrounded by the lake and trees. The cabin was just as described and was clean, comfortable, and clutter-free. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the northern area for the autumn colors.
