A cabin near Giants Ridge
Giants Ridge is the Iron Range's year-round resort, on Wynne Lake just east of Biwabik: downhill and cross-country skiing in winter, and two 18-hole golf courses in summer.
It's about 38 miles from the cabin, an hour's drive up US Highway 53. Spend the day on the hill or the course, and the evening at the fire pit or by the fireplace.
